Fans and Blowers for the optimized power solution and peak performing power

Centrifulgal Fans

centrifugal-fans

A centrifugal fan is a mechanical device for moving air or other gases. These fans increase the speed of air stream with the rotating impellers. They use the kinetic energy of the impellers or the rotating blade to increase the pressure of the air/gas stream which in turn moves them against the resistance caused by ducts, dampers and other components.

Centrifugal fans accelerate air radially changing the direction (typically by 90°) of the airflow.

Benefits of Ecomak Centrifugal fans:

• Sturdy built and quiet operation
• Reliable operation over a wide range of parameters
• Low noise level and power consumption using special drive arrangements

Ecomak is capable of providing single centrifugal fans upto the following specifications:
Volume: 3,00,000 Am3 /hr at ~1800 mmWC
Temperature: 450 °C
Diameter (max.): 2500 mm

Axial Flow Fans

axial-fans

An axial fan is a type of a compressor that increases the pressure of the air flowing through it. The blades of the axial-flow fans force air to move parallel to the shaft about which the blades rotate. In other words, the flow is axially in and axially out, linearly. All of the designing in an axial fan revolves around the design of the propeller that creates the pressure difference and hence the suction force that retains the flow across the fan.

The main components that need to be studied in the designing of the propeller include the number of blades and the design of each blade. Axial fans operate at high specific speed i.e., high flow rate and low head and hence adding more blades will restrict the high flow rate required for its operation.
